Hi folks,

We’d like to invite you to a two part web training about how to give public comment at a city council meeting or similar setting. The purpose of this training is to help give people some info about the process and give some tips to make your public commenting a positive, successful experience. The other presenters and I are doing this work under the coalition work of the San Diego Green New Deal Alliance. Anyone who wants to learn about this is welcome. Please feel free to forward the link, and understand that we recognize many who I’ve included here are already excellent at this skill. Each session covers separate information, so we recommend both if you can make them.

We’ll cover topics like the anatomy of a city council meeting, how to prepare, mistakes to avoid, and how to take it to the next level.
